All Things Lisbon

Portugal was on my list for quite some time, so when I saw Web Summit was going to be in Lisbon this year I figured it was time to just go for it. It had so much charm and honestly the best seafood I've ever had. If you're thinking about heading to Lisbon, do it! And here's what you should check out.

Where to Eat
Taberna Sol Grasso - Stellar food, but make a reservation
O Trevo - Very inexpensive and the best bifanas in Lisbon. Grab one (or two) and a beer before exploring the city.
Sea Me - AMAZING sea food. And try the barnacles, they're great. Seriously.
Sala de Corte - Treat yourself to a really nice meal here, especially if you like meat. Great wine selection and cocktails too.
A Cevicheria - Octopus ceviche. Octopus ceviche. Octopus ceviche.
Taberna ideal - The menu changes daily, but everything is incredible. Check out the wine bar next door as well.
Taberna da Rua das Flores - Go early. There will be a line.
Restaurante Insolito - Amazing food, killer wine selection, and you have to take the tiniest elevator to get there. The view and atmosphere made it my favorite spot in the city.
Pasteis de Belem - Do not leave without getting tarts from here. I almost missed my flight for these and it would have been completely worth it.

Where to Drink:
Copenhagen Coffee Lab - I was told this place had the best coffee. It does!
Clube da Esquina - Get a mojito, or two before wandering around Bairro Alto.
Park Bar - Don't be fooled by the parking garage you have to go through. There's an incredible bar on top.
Pensão Amor (Hostel of Love) - Walk and people watch along Pink Street and check out this seriously quirky bar.

Places to Go:
Time Out Market - A bunch of top restaurants with booths in one place. It's the ultimate food court.
Mercado de Campo de Ourique - A really great market. Don't miss it!
LX Factory - By far the most hipster area I've ever been to. All the markets, shops, bars, and restaurants are worth taking a peek at.
Bad Bones Tattoo - Daniel gave me my favorite souvenir.

Day Trips:
Praia da Ursa - It's about a 45 min Uber ride and then a 30 min hike to beautiful and very quiet beach.
Caiscais - A quick train ride to very popular beach area.
Sintra - A gorgeous town with castle and lots of hiking. Make sure you have at least half a day to explore, but a full day is best!
